Our Cookie Policy

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how Kaluza uses them on the website and through electronic communications. We encourage you to read this Cookie Policy in full so that you can understand what information we collect using cookies and how that information is used.

Where we refer to “Kaluza”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this cookie policy we mean Kaluza Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

This cookie notice supplements other privacy notices and information we give you (and it might be supplemented by these too), but it doesn’t replace any of them.

By using the Kaluza website, you are agreeing that we can use cookies in accordance with this Cookie Policy. You can usually change the settings of your browser to modify the permissions you give to us and third parties for the storing of and gaining access to cookies on your device.

What are Cookies and Web beacons?

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that a website can place on your computer’s hard drive where your internet browser files are kept. A cookie saves you the trouble of reentering certain information in some registration areas because cookies can be used to enable a site to “remember” information a visitor has previously inputted. A cookie also helps deliver content and features likely to be of interest to you, based on your previous activities on our site, and to track how sections of the website are used. Cookies can be placed on your computer both by us and by Third Parties, such as web analytic services and advertising network services. With most internet browsers or other software, you can change your browser settings to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please check your browser instructions to learn more about these functions. If you reject cookies, functionality of the site may be limited, and you may not be able to take advantage of many of the site's features.

Web beacons

A web beacon (also known as an “action tag” or “invisible pixel”) is a tiny graphic on a web page or in an email message designed to track pages viewed or messages opened, and allows the collection of web log information. Web log information is gathered by the computer that hosts our website (called a "web server") when you visit our website. We may use web beacons to help determine which email messages sent by us were opened and whether a message was acted upon. Web beacons also help Kaluza analyze the effectiveness of websites by measuring the number of visitors to a site or how many visitors clicked on key elements of a site.

How do we use cookies?

We use information supplied by cookies to help us:

  • Analyse your use of our websites to provide you with a more personalised online user experience.
  • Improve our website by displaying content that is most relevant to individual visitors.
  • Advertise Kaluza products on other websites, based on your visits to our sites.
  • Ensure you receive advertising from us that is relevant to you and your interests.
  • Remember certain personal preferences, such as your language setting and preferred configurations.

For instance, depending on your cookie choices, we may use information about your devices, your online interactions and you, to provide, analyse and improve our services. This may include personalising content or advertising for you, including email and direct mail.

Managing cookies

Choices about Cookies:

  • A “Allow All” button allows you to consent to the use of all cookies used on the site.
  • A “Customize” button provides access to the consent management table, offering you the ability to manage your preferences according to the category of cookie purposes. This setting is done through switches. The switch for essential cookies is activated by default and cannot be deactivated.
  • A “Refuse” link allows you to oppose the use of all cookies used on the site (except for essential cookies exempt from consent). When the user chooses to click on the “Continue without accepting” link, this choice is interpreted as a refusal.

You can withdraw your consent to our use of cookies at any time. If you want to withdraw or modify your consent, you can usually use your browser to define the conditions of storing or gaining access to cookies and in particular to enable, disable or delete cookies. To do this, follow the instructions provided by your browser (usually located within the “Help”, “Tools” or “Edit” settings). Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, you may not be able to access secure areas of the site and other parts of the site may also not work properly.

You can find out more information about how to change your browser cookie settings at www.allaboutcookies.org.
