Summer Edition

Is it the end of SaaS?
And if so, what comes next?

A breakfast seminar for energy strategy leaders on what replaces the SaaS model, across three questions that decide it: pricing, ownership, and service.

For a generation, enterprise energy software was SaaS: licensed by seat and module, operated by your teams, priced by access. It was a good model for software whose job was to show you the work: dashboards, workflows, data retrieval.

That job is changing. When software orchestrates millions of devices in real time, autonomously, the SaaS assumptions start to strain, and three questions surface that don't have settled answers. Pricing: if you're not paying for seats, what are you paying for, and does the gauge move to outcomes? Ownership: who owns the stack, the intelligence, and the customer relationship, you or the platform you now depend on? Service: what happens to the vendor relationship when software runs on your behalf rather than being operated by your team?

We're not calling the end of SaaS. We're asking the question, because the answer shapes where a strategy lead places their bets for the next five years. This session brings together leaders from retail energy, technology, revenue strategy, and investment to work through it: is this the end of SaaS, and if so, what does the next model actually look like?

Not a conference. No slides, no demos, no pitches. A focused conversation over breakfast with people working through the same questions from different angles.
